Balls deep - Surrender (Single 2014)

"Opening act Stoke On Trent based Balls Deep wasted no time in stamping their authority to a packed out tent. I had seen them lay waste to the Rigger in Stoke a few months ago but on the Sophie stage playing through a big p.a system, their 7 song set was nothing short of overkill. With the imposing stage presence of vocalist Bez, they launched into opener ‘Bitch’, a short, sharp burst of Pantera type hardcore. Other standouts were ‘A Thousand Nights’, it’s lumbering main riff backed an unhinged vocal as if Bez was exorcising inner demons and temporary drummer Charlie Cooper seemed hell bent on destroying his kit. ‘Pool Dam’ lurched along on a Black Sabbath groove, inciting a huge circle pit. ‘Dead Badger’ switched between stoner riffs and adrenaline rush break downs and set closer ‘Epic’ lived up to it’s title as it’s dizzying dynamics including more powerhouse drumming saw them leave to big cheers."

"If Pantera had been raised on Staffordshire Oatcakes ....they’d sound like this."

Stoke-on-Trent based BALLS DEEP formed in January 2011 from the ashes of three well established UK bands.
Since recording and releasing their debut E.P 'CHRISTIE' in 2012 the band have been gigging with bands such as M.O.D., Stampin' Ground, Beholder, Evile, Viking Skull, Huntress, Mercy House, to name but a few. Making waves with fans and venues all round the UK, BALLS DEEP have released three videos that have been getting regular play on sky music channel Propeller TV on their show 'Metal Tuune'.
The band released their debut album A THOUSAND NIGHTS at BLOODSTOCK 2013 where they played a very successful set on the Jager stage. The debut at Bloodstock was met very well and has quickly launched the band into playing even more gigs all over the UK as well as an extensive UK tour.
2014 saw Balls deep play the S.O.P.H.I.E. stage at Bloodstock Festival, being the first band to play the weekend to a packed out tent of 3000+ people.

Balls deep now have a co-headlining UK tour set for early 2015 which will see them play venues all around the country.
