Binary Creed - Restitution (2015)

Binary Creed came into being fall 2014 when Stefan Rådlund contacted Andreas Stoltz about starting a progressive metal project. He had a number of musical ideas that needed a singer to come inte fruition. Andreas, with a history of being the driving force in Swedish metal act Hollow in the late nineties, jumped on the invitiation and the collaboration proved successful. Both Stefan and Andreas compose and the work is mainly done using cloud services and DAWs.

The recording sessions for the debut album Restitution were done at home and Ronnie Björnström at EAP Productions in Umeå did the final mixing and mastering. Restituion is a concept album about a young person’s struggle with inner demons, her seeking temporary refuge in religion but finally coming to terms with life and that religion is not an answer.
