THE SHELTER - This Is Not Even Something

 

This Is Not Even Something is the fourth single of Mexican alternative rockers The Shelter. The song is a tribute to their homeland, the north of Mexico.The lyrics are about dust, sun, sand, heath and even corruption.The band's sound is defined by distorted bass and intense vocals.

Their influences can go from bands such as Led Zeppelin, Ramones, T-Rex, Nine Inch Nails, Queens Of The Stone Age or Iron Maiden.

They previously worked with people like Arturo Vega (Artistic director for the Ramones) and performed in venues like Imperial, Caradura, Foro Galera and Bar Oriente (CDMX) and Bowery Electric, Hecho en DUMBO and Bar 9 (NYC). 

The Shelter are Javier Orduña (bass and backing vocals) and Elías Gameros (Vocals).Their plan is to release a new single every month until December 2020, and right after the lockdown is over, to start touring.
