BLACK STAR JACKALS - Party People

4-piece alt-rock/indie band from Glasgow, Black Star Jackals have just released new party banger Party People. A hook so infectious you can’t stop yourself from singing. A beat so pounding you resist the urge to move. The uplifting riffs are haunted by vocals delivered through a forked tongue. Sang from the point of view of one’s inner demons, the lyrics are joined by a rhythm section hell bent on compelling you to join the party, and dance away your dreams.

Black Star Jackals went into Venice of the North studios with ambitions to create a melodically infectious dance song with a gritty guitar driven bite.

Having only formed in mid 2019, the band have already won a national music competition (Soundwaves), received airplay on BBC Introducing and Planet Rock and received critical acclaim from industry experts including the "Godfather of Rock' Tom Russell, who described the band as having a "bright future".
