Freshly-formed Nashville-based power quintet, Lombardy, has just released their debut single Don’t Wanna See You Round Here.
Drawing from a wide spectrum of influences for the track, Plevyak’s melodic mastery on vocals and clever lyricism (“You’re a stormy cloud, you’re rolling in low, wrapped around me like you’re drowning me out again”), hand-in-hand with Scott’s snarling guitar playing offer a sound reminiscent of the best of modern alternative and hard rock music, such as Cage the Elephant, The Black Keys, and Foo Fighters.
