EADES - Saying Forever

Harry, Jof, Tom, Dave and Dan have spent the last six years playing in various bands and projects around the UK. From dream pops Far Caspian to the psychedelic Dharma Wilde the four have gained a multitude of experiences, embarking on tours and festivals across europe as well as sharing stages with Wolf Alice, Boy Azooga, Twin Peaks and more. Though recently the 5 have joined together to create Eades, named after Harry’s grandfather. Their sound is a fresh blend of Garage Rock, New Wave and Post-Punk, wrapped in their minimal Lo-fi recording style. Opting against shiny synths and lush reverbs their tight beats and angular guitars bounce of each other under Harry’s dead pan vocal delivery. Their influences include Talking Heads, Thin Lizzy, Velvet Underground and The Clash.

Saying Forever is their debut single and their first track from their debut EP coming soon. Produced and mixed by the band. Violently danceable, new wave inspired track combines angular riffs with an infectious rhythm section making it impossible not to join in their party.

Harry says about the track: “Coming out of uni we were all going through a lot of anxiety about our futures, particularly in music. And I know I was getting myself caught up in the pretty self destructive lifestyle I often find myself in during low times. I think the vibe of this track has captured what was going on in my head pretty well having the fun instrumental bouncing of the more stress stricken vocal delivery.I was listening to alot of Talking Heads at the time and loved how they made you want to get down and dirty whilst in keeping with their grittier, choppy aesthetic.”
