Night - Raft of The World (2017)

On September 1st 2017, Night's third full length album "Raft of the World" will be released through The Sign Records. The album consists of 9 ravishing rock hymns forged together by the band during the fall of '16, and signifies a musical progression of the band towards a more rock-based sound, without leaving their trademarked sharp edged NWOBHM attitude. With a modern take on classic rock 'n' roll, this album takes the listener on an increasingly organic and diverse journey compared to its predecessors. 

"Raft of the World" was recorded, produced and mixed by Ola Ersfjord (Tribulation, Dead Lord, Lizzies, Honeymoon Disease) with additional recordings (drums & bass) by Linus Lundgren at Studio Ganymeden in their hometown Linköping. Ola Ersfjord contributed to the broader production and soundscape, including instruments such as organs, acoustic guitars and percussion. Mastering was done by Chris Common (The Mars Volta, Chelsea Wolfe, Mastodon) and the artwork is made by the talented artist Mattias Frisk (Ghost, Vanhelgd, Vampire, Trap Them).

About Night:

Night is a quartet hailing from the plains of Östergötland, Sweden. The band formed in 2011 and have released two full length albums and two singles. Known for their fierce and intense live performances, Night have built up a reputation as an entity to count on. Today the band consists of Oskar (vocals, electric guitar), Sammy (electric guitar), Joesph (electric bass guitar) and Dennis (battery). 

Lead Vocalist Oskar commented, "This album is a progression of the whole concept that is Night - both personally and musically. I felt a dire need to express myself on a more personal level, which hadn't really been a priority for me before we started to work on the new songs. Living in a world gone mad, constantly surrounded by people whose lifestyle is basically rooted in greed, unfortunately brings out the worst in otherwise "good" people. It makes you think about what is actually important in life which also triggers the creative and philosophical flow that I really think has been manifested in the new songs."

Midnite Hellion - Condemned to Hell (2017)

Release: 15 September 2017

U.S. Heavy Metal trio MIDNITE HELLION will release new album Condemned to Hell September 15 on Germany's Witches Brew. The album will be available on CD format with a vinyl LP version to follow in the new future.

Blending a healthy mixture of Heavy Metal and Thrash Metal, MIDNITE HELLION creates an addictive, crushing sound, a combination as evident as ever on Condemned to Hell. Among the pure metal bliss is a tune called "Teenage Bloodsuckin Bimbos,' which will be the theme song for an upcoming B-movie of the same name.

UFO - The Salentino Cuts (2017)

British rock legends UFO offer up their first ever covers album paying homage to a dozen of their personal favorites! “The Salentino Cuts” includes several unexpected choices such as Mad Seasons’s “River Of Deceit,” John Mellencamp’s “Paper In Fire,” and Bill Withers’ “Ain’t No Sunshine” alongside more traditional but nonetheless thrilling versions such as The Yardbirds’ “Heartful Of Soul,” ZZ Top’s “Just Got Paid” and lots more!
UFO’s current line-up features original members Phil Mogg on vocals and Andy Parker on drums. Keyboardist/guitarist Paul Raymond joined the band in 1976. Lead guitarist Vinnie Moore has been a permanent member of the group since 2003, and American bassist Rob De Luca joined the fold in 2012.
Vinnie says, “Making this covers record was a blast for me. I thoroughly enjoyed putting a little of my own spin on these tunes that I grew up with. I played ZZ Top and Robin Trower songs about a gazzilion times onstage over the years. it was great to actually get to record some of my old faves.”
UFO’s “The Salentino Cuts” will be released on September 29th and will be available on both CD & 2 limited vinyl pressings, one splatter vinyl and one white vinyl!

Black Paisley - Late Bloomer (2017)

From Stockholm, Sweden comes debuting BLACK PAISLEY with a musical combination of Classic Rock, AOR and Modern Country. The band is formed by some of Sweden’s most experienced studio and tour musicians backed up by a new songwriter and vocalist.
The album consists of nine songs with a spread from heavy rockers as “Run Run Run” and “Ordinary Day”, via more melodic radio tunes like “Way To Something” and “Coming Home” but also touches the southern rock influences with “It Ain’t Over” and “Easy”. All engineered and produced by legendary Mats Lindfors giving the classic rock songs a more modern and crisp sound.

In the Autumn 2014, BLACK PAISLEY started the journey towards a first album. The Black Paisley Project is a spinoff from StephMetal - a Swedish cover band that had existed for many years featuring Stefan Blomqvist (vocals, guitar), Jan Emanuelsson (bass), Robert Karaszi (drums) and Birger Lundgren. Stephmetal won the Swedish “Company of rock” in 2009 and gigged frequently both in Sweden and abroad (UK, Fr, Ne and No) during the 2000’s. In 2009 Robert Wirensjö also joined the band on keyboards, adding a new touch of professionalism to the band and their gigs. Robert had both recorded and toured with several of Sweden's greatest artists like Michael Rickfors, Andreas Johnson among others.

The dream of making an album with own songs had often been discussed during the time of Stephmetal. Blomqvist had for years written material partially tested both live and in the rehearsal room, and subsequently felt that now was the time to make this dream of an album become reality. The recording project was named BLACK PAISLEY, after Ritchie Sambora’s Fender signature guitar. In autumn of 2014 the recordings started outside Sundsvall with producer Johan Dereborn (former Gaston, E-type, Takida others), where we recorded the backgrounds live and also mixed the songs “Autumn” and “Kickin” during a couple cold November weekends.

During the Sundsvall sessions guitarist Ulf Hedin came onboard – likewise an experienced musician and songwriter. Ulf was to become a central musical engine in the whole BLACK PAISLEY project onwards. Friendly and talented drummer Mikael Kerslow, also guested in an honorable way in Sundsvall.

In spring of 2015 the band continued recording ”It ain’t over” and “This Is My Day” in Stockholm, where we found spare space in Mikael Wikman’s fine drum studio (used by Rammstein and others).In autumn of the same year, they decided to put more efforts into the project and came in contact with Mats "Limpan" Lindfors (Norum, Talisman, Meshuggah, Petter and others) who now took over the lead of the project, both recording, mixing and production together with Robert Wirensjö.

The rest of the songs were recorded at the prestigious Sound Trade Studios in Solna, where bands like Abba, Europe, and Michael Bolton recorded, too. Final mastering was done at Cutting Room Stockholm, by Mats Lindfors.

Vovkulaka - Defy (Single 2017)

   The first single written for Ukraine, ”Glory to the Heroes”, Vovkulaka (Ukrainian for Werewolf) is already on the charts in Kyiv (www.radioroks.ua). Featuring Keith Lynch on Guitar (Bill Ward Band, Ozzy Osbourne), based on his travels in Ukraine after Maidan, the song was dedicated to Ukrainian Soldier Nadiya Savchenko [jailed in Russia and subsequently released in May 2016]. Along with thousands of other Ukrainian Patriots, Vovkulaka participated in a three month Twitter campaign, focused on the Kremlin, to release Savchenko. 'Glory to the Heroes' was given to the Ukrainian People as a gift for Freedom. Currently, the song is being played in Ukraine, France, Russia, and the States. The second Single released, 'my Devil', is much darker and based on VolK's Paranormal experiences.
   In December 2016, Vovkulaka finished reording new music. Again,working with Producer Darian Rundall (Pennywise,Suicidal Tendencies), Vovkulaka released 4 new singles in 2017. Based in Odessa, Ukraine, Vovkulaka is a true 'International Metal Band'. Vovkulka's members come from Ukraine, Bulgaria,and the United States...naya G and juleZ dance, play percussion, and Drumset. Tom Bright - Noirgasm (2017)

Tom Bright is a melodic, Minneapolis songwriter, singer, and multi-instrumentalist who released several albums in the late 1980's on Minneapolis indie-label Blackberry Way Records ('Hands of Time'; 'Tortureland'). Tom's early music received significant college, regional, and national airplay ('Hardcore'), but as sometimes happens with indie artists, his talent and popularity came with an ironic twist - multiple station managers reported that Tom's single 'Hardcore' was very popular with callers who phoned the station to find out which Tom Petty album the song appeared on. Nothing Sounds Good - In the United States of Russia

Nothing Sounds Good isn't a band of young kids. It isn't a band where one or more of the guys has money, or from money, or had a parent in the industry. They aren't a band with backing, or a lot of support.But what they are is a great unknown local band with catchy music and intelligent lyrics. Nothing Sounds Good's front man, Sleazy Vegetable Joe, is an over qualified, under achieving, unfiltered, unfeeling, insensitive, loudmouth jerk that will keep you mesmerized and entertained throughout the entire performance. Hence The Noise - Minute With Me (2017)

HENCE THE NOISE is a NY based modern metal band which consists of Chandler Mogel on vocals, Rob Russo & Eddie Vandenko on guitars, and featuring Robbie Russo, who is a 13 yr old inspirational prodigy on drums.
Rob Russo & Eddie Vandenko have a long history together. They have been collaborating in various bands in the NY club scene ever since they met at a mutual friends garage in Brooklyn NY in 1989. After a long hiatus from the music scene, they started writing music again and decided to put a band together
Finding a drummer was a no brainer. Rob's son Robbie, who has been playing since he was 3 yrs old, was an easy choice. Robbie was born with a radial club right hand. It's where the radius bone in the forearm is missing or under developed. In Robbie's case, he is missing his radius. This has shortened his arm and caused him to have no thumb on his right hand. Listening to him play, you would never know it. He is a creative powerhouse with a style and feel well beyond his years. There is a natural chemistry between Robbie and his dad, since they have been jamming together ever since Robbie could sit behind a drum kit.





Their search for a singer ended when they saw an ad online for international recording artist Chandler Mogel. Chandler is most recognized for his work with Outloud and most recently as vocalist for legendary ex Angel guitarist Punky Meadows' Fallen Angel. it was a perfect fit.
HTN's debut album, which will be released this spring, was recorded at Room368 Productions by Ethan Bill who also performed on bass for the album.
HTN are not your typical cookie cutter modern metal band of today. They combine a more classic sound with a modern twist that distinguishes them from the rest of the pack.
Combine this bands unique lineup, musicianship, intense lyrics & heavy riffs, and you have a band that's poised to be heard. Hence the noise!

Fractured Spine - The Price of Retribution

Experimental, atmospheric, melodic. Although many death/doom metal elements are present in most songs, it would be difficult to categorize Fractured Spine strictly in that genre.

Starting out as a one man instrumental project, few songs were released to the public until 2012, with one notable exception being the very limited edition demo "Frost" in 2008. The band still draws its main influences from outside the metal genre.

The line-up consists of two core members Antti (instruments, vocals) and Timo (vocals), with occasional visits from session musicians and guest vocalists.

The Finnish melodic death/doom metal band Fractured Spine releases "The Price of Retribution" EP, shortly followed by three more upcoming EPs "Failed Pieces", "Stolen Pieces" and "Remains".

Celebrating 10 years since the first demo, "Anniversary Editions" of the first two studio albums "Songs of Slumber" and "Memoirs of a Shattered Mind" are also out this August, followed by a compilation album in 2018.
Composing, recording and working on the releases took more than 3 years. Mixing and mastering was done by Jeffro Lackscheide (US). The EP is published by Inverse Records.
