Thunder And Lightning - The Ages Will Turn (2017)

Thunder And Lightning are presenting their new album „The Ages
Will Turn“. Produced by bandleader Marc Wüstenhagen, who reached
the german album charts on 16 already this year with his co-production
of the gothic metal output Unzucht, the new album follows the
trademarks, that the band has established on their 2013 album „In
Charge Of The Scythe“.
This time, the five piece from Berlin, Germany is stepping into the
realms of the urban myths. The big unknown. The secrets on the dark
side of the moon on „Welcome To The Darkside“, the disappearing of
the crew of the „Mary Celeste“ in the 19 th century or the modern fairytale
of the Slender Man on „Slilent Watcher“, the boys are drawing their
inspiration from many sources.
The title track „The Ages Will Turn“ on the other hand taps into the
never changing face of war in human history and the band is paying
tribute to the videogame „Bioshock Infinite“ and the flowting city of
„Columbia“ the song of the same name. In addition to that, you can
hear shred guitar expert Máté Bodor (Alestorm, Wisdom) with a fast
paced guest solo on „One Blood“.
Recorded, mixed and mastered at Dailyhero Recordings in Berlin,
Germany (Emil Bulls, Drone, No Turning Back and many more) the
album will be a delight and a breath of fresh air to the ears of every Iron
Maiden, Blind Guardian or Iced Earth-Fan on the planet.
