"Nagmah was formed by Jose P. Calvo and Jose Soto. Our band has kept the same basis since 2005 (Mónica Villanueva – voice and keyboards, Jose Soto – guitar, Jose P. Calvo – bass, Roy Ross - drums) with changes mainly in the second guitar.
Along our path we have had the chance to participate in various national (Costa Rica) as well as international events: such as, the “Diablo Fest”, “Mujeres de Metal”, “Rock en el Farolito”, “Mutilation Metal Fest” (Nicaragua and Honduras), “Festival Rock sin Fronteras” (Panama). Moreover, we performed as the support band in Paul Di’Anno (2006), Dead Poets (2007), Arturo Huizar (2009), Billy Mata(2013) and Oliver Sean (2015) international concerts in Costa Rica.
In 2009 we launched our first album “Diva Mortis” with nine original songs. That same year our song, “El Maleficio del Lindero” was included in a French compilation called “Another Story from Heaven” along with bands from different countries such as Brazil, France, Finland, Italy, Spain, etc.
Nagmah signed a record deal in February 2014 with W.O.A. International Records owned by MTV EMA nominee Oliver Sean. As part of this deal the band headlined the WOA 7th Annual Music Tour around India and Dubai and has released the second album Hada Perdida through all major digital music distributors."
