"Orange County, California based RAVENSCROFT brings the rock with their latest EP titled Rebel. Ravenscroft is one of the few bands that can combine the varying styles of rock music that can be enjoyed by every fan of rock music. With a sound that is vintage, yet modern, the raw power and infectious melodies that lace the overall sound that is RAVENSCROFT will prove to be a very enjoyable experience for all fans of the genre. On March 25, 2018, Ravenscroft will officially release their newest sonic onslaught for the public to feast upon. The new 6-song EP, Rebel, delivers a beautifully diverse selection of songs that showcase the versatility of both the individual musicians, and the collective band.

“Denomination” is the high octane and hard driving song that will satisfy the thirst of even the most diehard fans of Metal, and sets the rock solid foundation for the rest of the EP to build on. “The Chase” is simply hard, heavy, and anthemic, poised and ready to blow the roof off venues all across the country. “Stand Up” is a rocker that brings a sexy groove and is the song that is going to rally the metal troops around this incredible band. “My Dearest One” is simply the best melodic rock ballad this reviewer has ever heard. And yes, that is going against tunes like “Every Rose Has It’s Thorn” and “I Remember You”. Expect “My Dearest One” to give you chills. Jaded returns us to our hard rock roots with an excellent guitar riffs that is very contemporary, yet sounds like something that came from the 1980’s. The title track “Rebel” closes out the EP just like you would expect, big guitar driven melodic powerful metal.
RAVENSCROFT is comprised of vocalist Ralph Buso, drummer Pat Magrath, bassist Devin Baker, and guitarist Brett Octane. This band is genuine, and their passion for the art shines in the incredible music they produce. I love the approach the band is taking in promoting this album; it’s all about the music. No gimmicks, no filler, 100% rock n roll, this is RAVENSCROFT."
