Sisters Holly and Coco blend catchy melodies with striking harmonies and lyrics to create their unique Xylaroo sound. The sisters grew up all over the world, starting in Papua New Guinea and ending in East London where they are now based.
Their first album 'Sweetooth' was met with rave reviews and radio play from the likes of Dermot O'Leary, Frank Skinner, John Kennedy and Steve Lamacq. This was followed up by extensive touring, supporting the likes of Mika, Frank Turner and Matt Berry.
Following their first album, the band took a brief departure from their signature sound but are now back with their classic Xylaroo sound in Like Planes Taking Off in the Wind. If you had to sum it up: think Rilo Kiley meets Neutral Milk Hotel meets Leonard Cohen.
