After the success of Salsola’s first two singles, Embers and Cass. The band released their third single ‘Deconstruction' on 28 February 2020.
Salsola launched their second single ‘Cass’ with a sell-out headline show in their hometown Stockton. Cass was described as 'An irresistible slice of classic indie rock' by Narc Magazine and was featured in a number of blogs including FV Music blog, at Eat This Rock and Metal and Plus Magazine.
'Cass' also received airtime from BBC introducing, Total Rock, Get in Her Ears and a number of other local and national radio stations.
The follow up track ‘Deconstruction’ has a more mature and moody sound compared to Salsola’s previous releases. The track retains the bands signature layers of fuzzy guitar and feedback and takes influence from George Orwells '1984' and Aldous Huxley's 'Brave New Word' in describing a dystopian future that seems closer than ever.
