I was a Teenage Frankenstein is the new single from Fun Balloon Animals upcoming second album Exploitation Ferox, which is planned to be released on the 31/10/2020. The song is influenced by the 70's sound of Alice Cooper and Paul Di'Anno's period of Iron Maiden and is a mix of classic metal and a love of horror b-movies.
Fun Balloon Animals are a collaboration of Hertfordshire UK artists, that have come together through their love of 80’s Heavy Metal / Alternative / Post Punk music and Horror Movies. There first release was Frankenstein –A Post Modern Prometheus -a musical journey through Mary Shelly’s Frankenstein that lifts some of the narration straight from the book, whilst leaving room for the listener to ‘draw the dots’ via instrumental interludes between the story telling.
They are a truly eclectic mixing musical styles from synth pop, psychedelia through to Heavy Metal.
They have featured on many blogs / music sites including Headphones For Robots, Last Day Deaf, Queen City Sounds and Art, Independent Music Reviews, InspotMusic, HardestSquadMusic and receiving plays from Vibe107.6, Radio Verulam, Cambridge 105, Wigwam and many others.
There live performances are rare, but they always try to bring their horror
vision whenever they hit the stage.
All releases are through
Prank Monkey Records.
You can find I Was A Teenage Frankenstein on all streaming platforms.
