Intaglio - Subject To Time
Russian one-man funeral doom project Intaglio just released their new single Subject To Time. The use of double bass and cello injects a unique character into the recording and set new standards in the genre. The composition Subject To Time is presented in a simplified form in order to provide first impressions of the conceptual work that is the upcoming record. A number of various musicians took part in the recording of the album, performing the live drums as well as a variety of classical instruments. Classically trained professional vocalists also contributed to the recording, and some of this rich variety can be heard on Subject To Time.
Intaglio is a one-man funeral doom project created by Russian artist Evgeny Semenov.

Nu Horizon - Wonder
Nu Horizon, a metal band from Kazakhstan, just released their new single Wonder. The single consists of two songs : Evasive Resolution and The Deadly Seven. The band members of Nu Horizon are graduates and employees of Nazarbayev University of Kazakhstan. The song "Evasive Resolution" was inspired by Bring Me the Horizon, and was written to be played during their graduation concert. It represents the hardships of university life for ordinary students, especially towards graduation. The conflictual feelings of despair and hope, expectations of self and of people close to you, regrets and pride.The single was recorded by Ali Dukayev, the creator of the band, and his wife, who sang the vocals.

Crimson Clean Sweep - Hexes
US-based metal band Crimson Clean Sweep just released their debut single Hexes. It's a metalcore song tuned low, with screams, influenced by the sound of bands like Motionless in White, Kittie, Korn, Orgy and Nine Inch Nails. Hexes is about the feeling you have when you're at the lowest you've been at and no one is listening. Taking place with mental illnesses such as depression, suicidal tendencies and anxiety is a BIG factor in what is being told throughout the lyrics.

Daggerplay - Eastbound Subway Train
Eastbound Subway Train is the latest single by Helsinki-based punk rockers Daggerplay. The song is packed with fast rock´n´roll groove with an old school Celtic punk melodies which bring to mind the great energy from legends Dropkick Murphys and Flogging Molly.
Fueled by fiery guitars, urban voodoo drums, furiously pumping bass and
anxiously wailing storylines, Eastbound Subway Train is speeding up
to the seedier sides of metropolitan cities. The song is inspired by the
real-life struggles of living in a big city and never quite finding a way
through it. It is an unflinching look at the difficulties – economic,
physical, and emotional – that come with existing in the modern era.

"Hindsight" is the debut single by female-fronted pop-punk band House Parties. It's an angry, fast-paced pop-punk song mixed with easy core inspired by bands like The Story So Far, Knuckle Puck, and Paramore, especially during the RIOT! era. Hindsight, is about dealing with friends who are always off and on with you. In front of other people, they put on an act and seem genuine, but behind the scenes is a different story. Luxe - Toxic
"Toxic" is the new single released by a Canadian-based artist and producer named Luxe. The song is a throwback to the 2000s pop rock/pop punk sound, with a modern twist! Luxe's sound is influenced by bands like Blink 182, New Found Glory, Motion City Soundtrack, The Starting Line, Green Day and Taking Back Sunday. Lyrically, the track is about a bad relationship. You keep breaking up, but something keeps pulling you back. Even though you know this person is no good for you, you keep falling back to them. They're toxic, but like a drug, you can't stop.
Luxe writes and records all lyrics/music. "Toxic" also has

CPSD - Down Came A Spider
‘Down Came A Spider’ is the latest single of CPSD, a Bradford based alt-rock 3-piece - who received a very warm welcome following their debut release ‘Use Once’ in summer 2020, including attention from notable media outlets.The song, ‘Down Came A Spider’, is an observational commentary of current affairs, and the handling of them by governing bodies. Specifically written following the storm surrounding Brexit, and becoming more prophetic by the day as the Coronavirus Pandemic unfolded, ‘Down Came A Spider’ is high energy, gritty take on politicians and how they manipulate voters.

Denizen - Pretty Words
NY-based alternative rock band Denizen returns with the last single from their upcoming LP “Afterglow.” The lyrics reference Albert Brumley’s “I’ll Fly Away,” and describe struggles equally interpretable at a political or personal level. The initial promise of change is put into ironic contrast with a structure that repeats the same verse three times, with increasing intensity. A powerful breakdown section is followed by a dramatic conclusion that represents new heights of artistic achievement for the band. The song is inspired by equal parts RHCP's "Scar Tissue" and The Who's "Won't Get Fooled Again" and can be interpreted more or less on either personal or political level.

Miles Grindey - Stride
Southampton-based artist Miles Grindey just released his latest track Stride. The song was written in 2018, worked on over 2019 then finally finished and released in 2021! “This track began life as a demo for part of an album which unfortunately is now scrapped. I loved this track so much that I had to do whatever it took to get it out there and I’m so glad it finally has. Now the whole world can hear it,” says Miles Grindey.
The song features vocals by Ian Michael Bruh (Bumpin’ The Mango/Backroad To Brooklyn), bass by Enrico Galetta and drums by Wayne Viar. “Following on from September’s “Isolate This!” I couldn’t let the music end. The great struggle to get this song completed meant that to me, this tune had a lot of personal love towards it. I’m just incredibly grateful that those parts recorded all that time ago can finally be available for all to hear.” Miles continues.

The Hollow Roots - Blame
Tennessee-based blues rock band The Hollow Roots just released their newest single titled Blame. The last few years the band has grown, sonically and lyrically, while still staying true to their old sound. The Hollow Roots have trimmed the fat, honed in on their song craft, and balanced their sound, and on the other side have produced a solid, catchy indie-rock song that will have the listener singing along to both the riffs and melody. Blame is the next step in the bands growth towards an actualized rock band that everyone can relate to. The song lyrics touch on topics of self-reflection and growth. Originally the lyrics where inspired by a YouTube-series on the lives of Roman emperors - what a handful those guys were! - but the personal crept in and transformed the song to something more akin to the personality of the band,” says Kristoffer Veirum (vocals/guitar).

GABRIEL - Fall Apart
Fall Apart is the follow-up to GABRIEL’s debut single, What A Shame. This song is about finding our inner strength to overcome the things in life that could easily break us, if we let it. From the beginning you are struck by the booming guitar of Gabriel Metzger. The song breaks down allowing the tormented emotion of Phil Walker’s vocals to come through. Heavy riffs build again and the song resolves with a guitar solo clashing with the dissonant rhythm guitar that shows the conflicting emotions within us all. Fall Apart gives listeners permission to bend, without breaking.
GABRIEL is a new rock band founded by 17 year old guitarist Gabriel Metzger. Gabriel started the development of this project shortly before the Covid lockdowns began. Instead of putting things on hold he decided to push forward and make the best of the situation.

Electric High - Trembling Bones
After putting out a five track EP named Go Easy On My Heart six weeks ago, Norwegian rockers Electric High are on it again, with another new track called Trembling Bones. This explosive piece of rock came together down after a hard night out, during a heavy hangover. The band says about it : "Singer PV Staff and guitarist Marius Mørch woke up, equally devestated by last night’s escapades, each with an idea for a new song. The track was recorded at Solslottet Studios, in Bergen, Norway, produced by Iver Sandøy. The percussive intro illustrates the shaky state the songwriters were in while they conceived this song. And the «situation growing on my mind» is nothing but the escalating headaches and the paranoia of the foregoing night’s blurry events. The relentless stomp of the pounding chorus only amplifies the gut-wrenching feeling, followed by a brief moment of relief, before throwing you back into the claustrophobic vibe and another pounding chorus of «Trembling Bones».
