London rockers Kontrol Freaks just released their first single Rock N Roll Fire.This is a hard rock song full of energy. The explosive female vocals tie in perfectly with the clever guitar riffs and the strong rhythm section. Their influences from Halestorm but also from Rival Sons, Guns n Roses and Dorothy are obvious.
Kontrol Freaks are a four-piece rock band. Having met in 2019, they came together the following January and within the three months that followed, played four gigs and worked hard on their original material. Τhey are fronted by female vocalist MONTY. Guitarist Sebastian Kromp is joined by bassist Mick Gough and drummer Leo Mesada.
Having formed only a few months before lockdown, they worked hard to keep Kontrol Freaks alive. July came around and they hit the studio after just 2 rehearsals.Their first single “Rock N Roll Fire” was written by MONTY and Seb as an ode to the fearless life led by the biggest rock stars of 80s and 90s.
“We wanted to make a record that fearless and fun. Music that’s heavily
inspired by the rock classics with a modern twist. Basically, to get
everyone up and headbanging!”

With such a great frontwoman and so capable musicians around her, the band has everything they need to succeed.
“Rock N Roll Fire” was recorded, mixed,
mastered and produced by Pavel Daniels in his London studio.
