Song of the Day : My Glass World - River Of Light

Artist/Band: My Glass World
Title: River Of Light
Style: Indie Rock, Pop Rock
Year: 2026

My Glass World's "River Of Light" feels like sunlight breaking through after a long gray stretch. Jamie Telford's voice carries this warm, steady confidence—clear and inviting, never forced—while Sean Read's backing vocals add a gentle lift that makes the harmonies glow. The lyrics are straightforward and hopeful, painting a picture of motion and light pushing forward even when things feel stuck; it's reflective without getting heavy.
Musically, it's upbeat and flowing: jangly guitars and keyboards weave together with a driving bass from Jon Kensington and crisp drums from Martyn Kaine, while Little Barrie's guitar touches bring extra sparkle. The production at Famous Times Studios is warm and open—analog feel with a modern crispness that lets every layer breathe. No overdone effects, just clean, cohesive energy that pulls you along.
Coming from those unreleased Covid-era songs, it still sounds fresh and alive, like the band rediscovered something joyful. Really nice to hear—uplifting without trying too hard.
