Echo The Light’s “Send Me” is a warm, uplifting worship-rock song with a clear sense of purpose. Jessie Schat’s heartfelt lead vocal carries the prayer at its center: a request to use her gifts and go wherever she can serve. Her delivery is sincere and strong, growing in confidence as the arrangement opens up.
The song starts with clean, spacious guitar and gentle keyboard layers, then builds steadily into broad choruses, grounded by bass and Derek Mehl’s lively drumming. Chris Schat’s guitar work adds a touch of Americana to the modern-worship sound, while the rich, ’90s-inspired overdrive in the later sections gives the track extra lift. The production keeps each part clear and supports the song’s rise from quiet reflection to full-band energy. A thoughtful bridge deepens the message of purpose and service, and the carefully shaped ending gives the song a satisfying close.
“Send Me” is an inviting introduction to Echo The Light: melodic, earnest and full of hope.
