Alternative rock band from West Yorkshire, Echoviolet just released
their new single City of Impunity. The song is a mix of punk and hard
rock sound with a catchy chorus that will stick in your head for a long time.
Influenced by bands such as Pink Floyd, Radiohead and White Stripes, the band
has managed to create a very unique rock sound.
Echoviolet reached the finals of the Bingley Weekender Battle of
the bands competition
in November 2019. This year, the band has been accepted onto the prestigious MAS Records
Artist Development Programme.
Take Me Home is the debut single from LAZER BEAM , a project
by multi-instrumentalist Lucust French. With catchy fuzz-powered
rifs, deep grooves and dance beats, the song brings a fresh stoner rock -
doom pop sound. Lyrically is a tale about a drunken, one night stand love
story. Lucust French played nearly every instrument, including
drums, bass, guitar, and Moog, while also providing the vocals.
Lesson Learned is the latest single by american
post-hardcore/metalcore band BACKTALK . With sound influenced by
bands like Slipknot, Avenged Sevenfold, Bullet For My Valentine, August
Burns Red and others, the song focuses on the topics of personal plight,
regret, and feeling doomed to forever continue the cycle of error. The main
"character" who speaks during the song ultimately feels as if there isn't
much of a point in making efforts, because it leads them to the same point
that they started at.
Lesson Learned is included on BACKTALK's upcoming
EP "Unsought" which was recorded and produced by former guitarist of
The White Noise and current solo artist Bailey Crego.
Welfare Lady is the new single by Irish indie rock band
The Left Backs, who are based in Liverpool. The song is a blistering
punk influenced banger with snarling vocals, a shredding guitar solo, a
relentless rhythm section and uncontrollable fits of headbanging, told from
the perspective of a hedonistic waster who finds unlikely love in a
likeminded lady at the job centre.
Inspired by The Strokes and The Beatles, The Left Backs combine
hook-heavy guitar parts with catchy upbeat choruses to create their own
hard-hitting take on indie rock, a classic sound with a modern twist.
Little Cheryl is the new single by British hard rock band
NOT NOW NORMAN. The track is punchy, sassy and in-your-face in both
its delivery and performance yet has a subtle pop undertone. The lyrics are
blunt, outspoken and to the point and are relevant to many listeners, yet
personal to the band. It's about the false lives that portray on social
media and confronts the self-imposed sense of insecurity and competition as
a result. The song follows Cheryl, a girl who pretends to live a life of
luxury on her social media and struggles to financially to catch up with the
latest trend. As lead singer, Taylor Mitchell, puts it: “It’s about
how people brag about the life that they portray to have instead of focusing
on what they do have.”
Influenced by an eclectic range of bands
including Black Sabbath, Joan Jett, Guns N’ Roses, Slash, and The Pretty
Reckless, Not Now Norman write about the dark sides of society with
raw sounds, a rebellious attitude and punchy riffs.

Alison is the new single from Australian indie rock band
MARROW LANE. The song is a part of the band's upcoming second EP and
represents all the things in lead singer's, Mitchell McKee, life
which are most fun, distilling the thrill and rush of all the things we love
doing into a punchy indie rock track complete with soaring, singalong hooks
and searing breakdowns. McKee said about it:
“Alison is a substance of love – whether it be a someone or a
something, ‘she’, is always around.”
The band creates a unique sound somewhere between rock, reggae and indie,
with some influences from Arctic Monkeys, Sticky Fingers and Tame
Impala.
Alternative prog rock band from London, PAPER SHIP , just released
their first single Too Close To The Sun. The song is about our every
day's life. PAPER SHIP wanted to express how the way we live, act and
think might be more dangerous for our psyche than we know. The music is
dark, intense and dramatic yet still catchy and memorable.
The single was entirely self produced. The band's main influences are Muse
and Radiohead mixed with heavier bands like Slipknot and Dream
Theater.

to a higher state of consciousness. With Fluorescent black,Mechanical has entered as the highest-ranked new band on the

Mechanical is a new born band formed in 2019 by vocalist/guitarist

Award-winning artist GEA releases her new single
“Sun Fights the Moon”. The song celebrates Nordic darkness, a
seasonal battle between day and night. It was written during lunar and solar
eclipses, and released in between the ones happening right now. Song is also
influenced by the Mexican Pyramid of Sun and the Pyramid of Moon which GEA
visited at Teotihuacan, while performing in Mexico.
“Sun Fights the Moon” wants to remind us that nature is stronger than
a human being, and if we keep on working against it, it will find ways to
defend its ecosystem.
GEA's vocals are angelic and airy, while her music is atmospheric
and cinematic, drawing inspiration from EDM, folk, art-pop, electronica,

London punk trio Play Dead return with their third single "Six Hours Later". The song tells the story of a friend of the band, who had overdosed with
ADHD pills. After six hours he had the feeling that he was going to die and he
made a video to tell everyone that he had accepted defeat and this was the

is the first single of the probably most unusual metal band on this planet:
Divine Anger. Believe it or not, the six newcomers are from another
dimension but are, for the time being, stranded in our reality, pushing hard
on their metal journey as they try to get back home. But let us not stray from
the path. Let’s talk about their music.
Behind The Wall
tells the touching story of the Frank family, who had to hide from the Nazis
during World War II. Changing perspectives, thunderous double-bass rhythms,
and lightning-fast guitar riffs drive the story forward intensively. But there
is also room for quieter moments, which makes the song more dynamic and
creates strong tension. All these elements together result in a sound that the
band describes as expressive power metal, which ranges from melodic to
aggressive but is always catchy as hell!
Power metal is familiar
territory for Divine Anger, but the band builds musical bridges toward
melodic death metal as well. This is also the case with
Behind The Wall, where growls, screams, and clean vocals alternate and
connect organically, reflecting the tensions of the historical background.
In
1942, the situation of the Jewish Frank family became so threatening that they
had to go into hiding in a back building in Amsterdam. Anne Frank wrote her
world-famous diary there. On August 4, 1944, the Nazis found the Franks’
hiding place. A few weeks later, the family was taken to Auschwitz, and its
members were separated. Anne died in the Auschwitz concentration camp in early
1945. It was the brave girl’s wish that her story be told over and over again
so that she and her loved ones could live on in people’s hearts even after
their deaths. Divine Anger’s song is a small contribution to the fact
that “Humble heroes never die.”
