Experimenting With Dawn

Experimenting With Dawn is a Nashville, TN based Gothic Rock outfit. Their dynamic approach is due to the amalgam of styles and influences shared by its members; Gabrielle Fae (vocals) and Michael Louis (guitar, bass, drums, vocals).  Bridging a classic Gothic feel with elements of Shoegaze and Ambient Rock, Fae and Louis have created a sound unique to their Post-Punk counterparts.
Fluid vocal styles compliment impassioned instrumentation on each track.  Deliberate layering of sound strives to treat the listener to an aural emprise.  Factor in Pop/Dance sensibilities, and you have a perfect cauldron of brooding, astute Rock.

With its foot planted in the staunchly independent conclaves of Gothic culture, Experimenting With Dawn is gradually finding its way into the foreboding, misty horizon.

Actual Villains

Actual Villains is a new project launched late 2015 by Andrew DeNeef & Jj Cooper the driving force behind Close to Home (Razor & tie records/ Artery Recordings 2010-2015).
One thing is clearly differnt about Actual Villains sound transitioning from Close to home. There's a more serious tone and the song writing has matured. They've turned away from breakdowns & screaming vocals that once defined them as a metal band and directed their focus into writing their catchiest, most real songs yet.
This hard hitting upbeat 4-piece has written a very diverse but cohesive debut self titled EP, out now. (April 1st 2016).

Actual Villains sound seemlesly combines elements of pop punk and an active rock/radio rock sound reminiscent of bands like Taking back sunday, Mayday parade, The red jumpsuit apparatus, Papa Roach, A Day to Remember, and Bring me the horizon.
The debut single titled Cave in is out now and getting radio play in southern ohio and beyond. The band is currently gearing up to release their second single "Stay tonight" with a music video.

“Dalton” is a rock singer/songwriter from Chaffee, MO with songs that are quoted as being “original and fresh, with the picture painted lyrically,” according to Indie International Songwriting Competition’s 2015 judge of their rock category, Kyle Novy.
In August of 2016, Dalton will be arriving in LA to find potential backers for his new project and spread the word about his debut EP titled, “Dalton: The Fall.” Since the December release of his EP, Dalton has been working diligently on getting his music to the masses and taking it to the next level. The momentum is building and people are noticing. From international songwriting contests to podcasts to internet radio to college and local radio stations, people across the country are beginning to create a buzz about Dalton’s music.
The progress to get to this point has been steady from its beginning. In March of 2014, Dalton recorded the music video for his song, “The Truth (acoustic)” which later, in August, placed 18th out of 1400 contestants in the EZ Drummer 2 International Songwriting Contest. In December, Dalton released his debut EP, “Dalton: The Fall.” From there, the momentum has done nothing but increase. In January of 2015, Dalton’s song, “The Truth,” debuted on local rock station, z95 The Bone in Poplar Bluff, MO. The same month, songs “The Truth,” “My Apology,” and “The Fall” debuted on Tarleton State University’s college radio station in Stephenville, TX. In February, “Dalton: The Fall” debuted on Westfield Recording Company’s internet radio program, Westfield Alliance Indie Show, in Port Richie, FL. That same month, Dalton was chosen as featured artist on the Bootheel Underground podcast. In April, Dalton’s song, “The Truth,” took 2nd and song, “My Apology,” took 3rd in the Indie International Songwriting Contest’s rock category. In July, Dalton performed an on-the-air acoustic set and interview on z95's Bone In Your Backyard segment.
So, all of these events have led up to this point: the seeking of bigger players; bigger opportunities. In August of 2016, Dalton will be moving out to LA to meet with some big players to take his career from a slight taste of success to that of potential rockstardum. Regardless, it’s safe to say that Dalton has only begun.

Composer Paolo Fosso and violinist Jacopo Bigi are classical-trained, but "classical" is not how they would describe themselves. Through their teenage years, they joined a few local bands playing a variety of genres and artists, from the Beatles to Dream Theater.

Armonite was formed in 1996. Though still in college, they released their first album in 1999, and performed a few dates live. They eventually split up, so Jacopo could follow his career as a classical violinist and violin teacher, while Paolo started working in the music administration.

It wouldn’t be until 15 years later that they would unite to form a new band while borrowing the name of their old one.

Paolo went straight to work and once he had composed enough tracks to make an album, Armonite came together as a transnational project. Joining Paolo and Jacopo was Porcupine Tree's bassist, Colin Edwin and Dutch drummer Jasper Barendregt. The production was scheduled to allow the recording of all materials remotely.

Things took a turn for the best when the first producer of Muse, Paul Reeve, accepted the offer to produce the entire work, with mastering at the Abbey Road Studios in London. Their album "The Sun is New each Day" was released in June 2015 after a production of about 6 months.
On September 21, Armonite performed at Expo 2015 Milano for "The Waters Rooms" Official Launch organized by UNESCO

Armonite has published the videos of a few soundtrack covers from their show "The Soundtrack is New each Day" with themes from Game of Thones, Pirates of the Caribbean, Jurassic Park, Harry Potter, Ghostbusters, Star Wars, The Exorcist, Suspiria, and many many others...!
