ChromiumHearts - I'm Not Actually Here


I'm Not Actually Here is the debut single from a New York-based alternative rock artist ChromiumHearts. ChromiumHearts does everything in the song, vocals, guitar, bass, and drums. It's an upbeat, danceble grunge song with pretty dark lyrical content about being depressed and giving up on life. You can find influences from bands like Nirvana, Pixies and Title Fight.

Mud Whale - Scapegoat


Cleveland-based outfit Mud Whale just released their new single“Scapegoat,” the latest from the band’s upcoming debut album Everything in Moderation.“Scapegoat” follows Mud Whale’s first single “Nutrient Burn,” released earlier this year. Erupting in a fast-paced flash of big, driving guitars, pounding rhythms and ferocious vocals, “Scapegoat” is a perfect demonstration of Mud Whale’s fiercely dynamic sound. 


Written as a response to the woefully played-out clickbait news articles blaming millennials for the supposed downfall of American life, “Scapegoat” is a high-powered rock song that demands an end to unnecessary intergenerational hostility.

Memphis Stone and The Elevators - Summer


London-based rockers Memphis Stone and The Elevators just released their new single Summer. It's their last release ahead of their much-anticipated EP, “Not before time”. Summer is a bona fide indie anthem, the sort of song you can see yourself waving your lighter in the air to (or your phone torch if you don't have a lighter). It's an ode to music festivals, a celebration of being in a field with thousands of other people and sharing the amazing experience of live music.

“This is an industry that is close to our hearts and we’re determined to try and do something to help people whose struggles will continue - today, tomorrow and for months to come,” says the band’s drummer, Lenny Bonetti. “As a session drummer, I have personal experience of this. Last year was horrendous. I saw my diary go from being full of tours and festivals across Europe to nothing within the space of a few days!”

All proceeds from sales and streaming will go to MakeItBlue, a non-profit company dedicated to raising funds for mental health charities with a particular focus on the live events industry.

Electric High - Fire!


Norwεgian hard rockers Electric High just released their new single Fire! Already after the first few notes of Electric High’s new song, it is clear that the band has fully recovered from the shaky «hangover» of their previous release, Trembling Bones. Where the last single started off easy with an acoustic/percussive intro, FIRE! ignites with full electric power from the get-go, with a thumping main riff and a sing-along chorus that keeps the flame burning to the very end!

FIRE! was recorded at Solslottet Studios, in Bergen, Norway, produced by Iver Sandøy and it is followed by a music video well worth watching. The video was directed by singer PV Staff, and captures the burning energy of the song perfectly!


Electric High goes straight for your throat, fronted by two in-your-face lead singers, while the guitarist, bassist and drummer shoot out pure electric power. This is a band that continuously gives us excellent hard rock music.

The Bare Minimum - Bitter Pill


Toronto punk rockers The Bare Minimum just released their new single Bitter Pill.The track reminds the sound of early AFI, Misfits, and the Offspring and is a return to the band's roots. Bitter Pill sounds like both a garage and stadium rock anthem and drenches the classic punk sound in a contemporary space fuzz.


Rising out of the underground Toronto punk scene, The Bare Minimum channel but subvert skate-punk into something new. Fuelled by coffee and too much internet, they've been dishing out singles throughout the pandemic. Having once shared the stage with Meat Wave, No Fun At All, and Adrenalized; they've redirected that energy into their songwriting and online presence.

Watching Wolves - Mayflower


Sydney-based post-hardcore band Watching Wolves released today their new single Mayflower. The sound is metalcore with influences from bands like Bring Me The Hoirzon, Polaris, Architects and Thornhill. Lyrically, the song was written to elevate and explore the situation and feelings surrounding the band when they recently lost someone who was very close to them. Mayflower also delves into the every day battle of moving forward with life, despite knowing that certain aspects of that life cannot, and will not ever be the same again.


The single was recorded and produced by Chris Blancato at his studio in Sydney. Blancato also produced the drums and other additional sections. It was mixed and mastered by Lance Prenc.

Venustra - May, I


Austin, Texas - based metal act Venustra released their new single "May, I". It's an Alternative Metal track that makes use of hard and thrashy elements and somber tones that leans into the tension and releases it into a cathartic whirlwind of chaos.Influenced by Dir en Grey, Venustra has a hard and driving sound but also extremely cinematic in its stake in music. Vastly different from other modern metal bands in the industry, the music is very nineties-centric with a slight goth, thrash, and punk bent. The main inspiration of "May, I" was a 2002 film "MAY" starring Angela Bettis that saw the psychological and emotional breakdown of the main character whose mission was to kill anyone who betrayed her and used their body parts to stitch together a new friend of her own.

Intaglio - Subject To Time


Russian one-man funeral doom project Intaglio just released their new single Subject To Time. The use of double bass and cello injects a unique character into the recording and set new standards in the genre. The composition Subject To Time is presented in a simplified form in order to provide first impressions of the conceptual work that is the upcoming record. A number of various musicians took part in the recording of the album, performing the live drums as well as a variety of classical instruments. Classically trained professional vocalists also contributed to the recording, and some of this rich variety can be heard on Subject To Time.

Intaglio is a one-man funeral doom project created by Russian artist Evgeny Semenov.

LA-based alternative rock band Lunarcode have recently released their debut single Heartbreak which has brought nine awards to the band (like Artist Revelation Of The Month, Rock Song Of The Month, Band Of The Month, Best Music Video etc.) . The track is a classic rock song with a pop edge, energetic and melodic with a sound that is both fresh and original while also containing elements of nostalgia. growr - Wasted Time

Birmingham rock artist growr returns with his new single ‘Wasted Time’. growr is the solo project of Jake Parsons, who have been in a lot of bands of varying genre and is an active member of DAME . Originally aiming for a Foo Fighters-type sound, the song incorporates elements of U.S. rock/grunge as well as U.K indie bands.Wasted Time retains some of the rawness displayed in the dingy back-of-a-pub gigs played as a fresher.

Nu Horizon - Wonder


Nu Horizon, a metal band from Kazakhstan, just released their new single Wonder. The single consists of two songs : Evasive Resolution and The Deadly Seven. The band members of Nu Horizon are graduates and employees of Nazarbayev University of Kazakhstan. The song "Evasive Resolution" was inspired by Bring Me the Horizon, and was written to be played during their graduation concert. It represents the hardships of university life for ordinary students, especially towards graduation. The conflictual feelings of despair and hope, expectations of self and of people close to you, regrets and pride.The single was recorded by Ali Dukayev, the creator of the band, and his wife, who sang the vocals.

Crimson Clean Sweep - Hexes


US-based metal band Crimson Clean Sweep just released their debut single Hexes. It's a metalcore song tuned low, with screams, influenced by the sound of bands like Motionless in White, Kittie, Korn, Orgy and Nine Inch Nails. Hexes is about the feeling you have when you're at the lowest you've been at and no one is listening. Taking place with mental illnesses such as depression, suicidal tendencies and anxiety is a BIG factor in what is being told throughout the lyrics. 


"If anyone is seeking help or struggling by themselves in whatever shape, way, or form, never hesitate to reach out as its crucial to have someone know how you're feeling before things can become too late" says the band. "Horror in general is a great way on how we utilize the things around us and explain how we are feeling, hence why "Hexes" can be briefly described as "A Cursed Song" for the people who feel Cursed in someone wanting a way out from reality."

LA based synth-rock band The Longing just released their new single Torture. The Longing lure us into a fragile musical landscape of gentle piano chords that temp and tease us to enter. Coupled with founding member, Laura Bradley’s, crystalline-sweet vocals, which beautifully trickle and tickle their way around the chords – and you’re hooked; too late to even want to escape from the drama that’s about to unfold in this story-tale of a track. Wicked Garden - Over and Done


Over and Done is the latest single released by Las Vegas, NV based rock band WICKED GARDEN. The song is a blend of 90's era alternative and grunge, mixed in with the classic hard rock of the past to create a sound that is underrepresented in the music industry today, yet cuts across genres to appeal to fans of all types of rock music.

Lead Singer/Guitarist Dominick Muzio says about the song and the video : “Over and Done is about the end of a relationship, and not necessarily a bad one. It's just run it's course. LoveButter - Nothing

Bristol-based hard rockers LoveButter just released their debut single Nothing. Drawing upon the Classic Rock sound of the 70's & 80's , LoveButter have reimagined the genre to fit into their quirky yet vibrant style. All the frills and tricks have been skimmed off the top, leaving just a passion for the rock music, delivered in a vehicle of absurdity and madness. 



If all you really want out of music is some toe tapping, floor filling, spine tingling, ball dingling, thigh slapping, unadulterated Rock n’ Roll, then you must listen to this song.

Brother Jonathan - Springs


‘Springs’ is the fifth release from Brother Jonathan, shifting gear from the subdued sounds of ‘Honey’ into a heavier, more gritty sound. ‘Springs’ offers huge overdrive, melancholic vocals, rolling drums and swelling brass sections. Lyrically, Brother Jonathan draws on personal anxieties, existential crises and coping strategies to express himself through his work.



Brother Jonathan is a solo project from Jack Alcock. He draws influence from artists such as Neil Young, John Martyn, Kurt Cobain, Damien Jurado and The Smiths.
