SkyFlood - Sunlight

Skyflood are an alternative/indie/rock/pop band based in Northamptonshire. The releases of their two first singles Flawless and Destiny gained great response and received great reviews, grabbing the attention of BBC Introducing.

Now they have just released their third single Sunlight, the darkest and grittiest song of the three.

The song begins with the piano reminiscent of 80s rock and then with the entrance of the beautiful vocals and other musical instruments it escalates into a blend of wonderful musical sounds from piano, guitars, drums and bass. The sound is harsh but at the same time very melodic. Really, a very emotional song.

Ollie Trevers - Stage Of Fools

Enchanting guitars, skillful rhythm and expressive vocals compose an atmospheric song. Lyrically, the theme of the song is the frustration one can feel in one's life. It's a song about loneliness, and the feeling of nihilism. Although its content is quite depressing, it is also comforting as there are many who feel the same emotions.
Whatever the case, Stage of Fools, which took its title from an immortal line in Shakespeare's King Lear, is a truly amazing song. One of the most beautiful I've heard in recent days.

Ollie Trevers' music is a blend of post-punk and classic rock. His influences is Led Zeppelin, Ella Fitzgerald, Edith Piaf, Tim Buckley, Jeff Buckley, Pink Floyd, Queen, Jimi Hendrix, Joni Mitchell and David Bowie.

A Kind of Man - Franceen

Danish Bjørn Rosenquist is the man behind the solo project A Kind of Man. ‘Franceen’ is the second single from his debut EP that will be released November 29 via Royal Toad Records.

In this song you can listen strong influences by Broken Social Scene
and The Beach Boys. Here the quality of the music is obvious. The rhythm is fast with very good drumming and the guitar playing is great. The vocals are very expressive while the lyrics refer to the artist's feelings after one night stand.

An animated video by artist Nicolai Bruun will follow the release of the single in November.

a2RK are a band from Leicester, UK, who play Progressive Rock.

Τheir biggest influences are Pink Floyd, Genesis, Yes, Porcupine Tree, Spock's Beard, Flower Kings, Rush and Dream Theater.

Their debut EP 'Papillon'.released at the end of 2016 . The EP contains three songs:  Papillon Theme, Wings Of Hope and St. Martins West.

a2RK's 2nd EP 'prdctbl:' released in  November 2017 after the tragic loss of Adi who was their friend and drummer. The EP contains three songs: prdctbl: , Tears and China Dawn.

In October 2019, a2RK released their 3rd EP entitled ‘Morlich:’. The new EP contains four songs: Glenmore (Just You and I) , Usquebaugh , Ben Macdui and Return to Morlich.
Andy wrote a short piece of music on acoustic guitar, then Roy and Kelvyn took the theme and expanded it by creating magnificent and inspirational compositions that became the Morlich Suite.
