SGR is a band from Tucson Arizona. SGR stands for Single Greatest Revelation. They have a wide variety of influences from rock,
alternative, vintage retro and edm. Their sound is a mix between New Years Day, Marilyn Manson and You Me At Six. Their latest single is Fearless.
"The Revolushn began when NO (songwriting/vocals/guitar) met Aaron
Connor (producer, bass guitar) in a Kansas City studio in 2012. Aaron,
with several gold and platinum records under his belt was impressed with
NO’s songwriting and studio skills. Bobby Killer Bee (guitar, vocals),
who owed the studio, offered NO studio time to record some new songs. NO
brought in some of his friends including David Kendrick (DEVO, SPARKS),
Wayne Coyne (FLAMING LIPS), Jimmy Leggs, D-Blues and Michael Angelo
Batio. Revolushn was born. The sessions turned into a gig in Kansas
City. The video from that show featured the song KC. KC quickly became
popular in Kansas City and generated over 50,000 YouTube hits. The song
attracted the attention of the owner of the Kansas City Royals. Over the
next two years the sessions continued and the result is Revolushn’s
first album THE FRESHMAN. As the music of Revolushn evolved more members
were added. The band currently lists 12 active musicians, two lawyers, a
filmmaker and an astronaut. During the first two years Revolushn
released 6 videos featuring some of the songs on The Freshman.
The indie sound of the group is a natural component of the bands
songwriting. The lyrics can be heart felt (That’s My Girl), personal
(Been Thinking) or irreverent (Suck it up). The material on THE FRESHMAN
is mostly up-tempo. Songs like Suck it up and KC blast out of the
speakers and establish a powerful rock tone that is consistent with the
bands live show. The songs Dark Matter and Been Thinking show the bands
arrangement skills and musicianship. While over 30 songs were recorded
for THE FRESHMAN, the LP has just nine songs. The result the album that
has a consistent feel and sound.
While Revolushn is based in San Francisco, California, the 12 active
members are spread evenly across the country with members on the east
coast (Buzzwell in NYC), the mid-west (Bobby Killer Bee, Aaron the Head,
Eddiespaghetti, Jimmy Leggs, Norita), and the west coast with DEKAY,
SCHUBERT, NO, EMC, Doyle and D-Blues. The band works both virtually and
in real time. The shows are amazingly tight and focused. The rumor has
it that several members of Revolushn were involved in a mysterious Music
on Mars experiment for NASA. The band says that is how they learned how
to stay connected musically and collaborate while in remote locations
(like on a space ship)". - Pat Fraser - Artist Spotlight
Revolushnhave a new album called The Freshman. It is available for streaming in Spotify and for purchase on iTunes.
Golden Duck Orchestra is a Brazilian band. While the band’s core sound is rock, Golden Duck Orchestra also incorporates different styles such as Brazilian folk elements, electronic music and other surprising musical twists. The lyrics are humorous and the same upbeat and tongue-in-cheek approach is present in their live performance.

Between the Void are a four piece alt rock band formed in 2013 in Bournemouth on the south coast of the UK. We come from a diverse set of musical backgrounds and the tastes of each member help to create a unique sound. Our aim is to blend our favourite elements of metal, funk, blues rock, grunge, punk, dubstep and post-hardcore in to make the kind of music that we would want to listen to.
John Eales (vocals/guitar) and Oli Frame (Lead Guitar) are long standing friends and were in a band together before Oli moved to London and then to Tanzania to live and work. On his return they hatched a plan to form a new band, the name to be decided, with the aim of making song driven alt-rock that also took account of their other influences. Pippa Gillingham was next to join. Her life in academia (ask her anything about beetles!) had moved her all around the UK, from Hampshire, to Oxford, to York and finally to Bournemouth. Her musical life had seen her playing across genres from world music, drum and bass to rock, funk and metal when she turned up in Bournemouth looking for a new musical project. After a few failed auditions and false starts, Marc Canning finally showed up to complete the band and Between the Void were formed. The debut album, written and recorded in 2014, was released in August 2015.
Between the Void having fun playing gigs whilst writing new material.
Long time collaborators Marc Kaducak (guitars) and Brahm Taylor (vocals, bass) of Buffalocomotive have entered the recording studio to begin work on the follow-up to their 2013 debut ‘Tears of the Enchanted Mainframe’ (http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/tears-enchanted-mainframe/id556698202 ). The slated concept album is an ambitious 21 song rock opera that will tell the linear story of ‘Gunmetal Gray and the Casket Kidd’, an eight foot tall mechanical-man from the far reaches of outer space and a half-breed albino Paiute, as they traverse an anachronistic weird west landscape, with twin sorceress sisters both named Alice, in search of vampire infested gold mines, resurrected Aztec mummies and chivalrous white werewolves.
This project will mark the debut of drummer Jim Shea as the groups’
percussionist and will be the second album released under the
Buffalocomotive moniker.
MØN£¥ are three kids from nowhere who’d rather not get into it. They
started making trouble in 2014 and in 2015 they did a run in America
where they made it their business to steal the show every night. MØN£¥

the Reverbnation Charts in November 2014 with his debut hit song “The
Way I Am.” It reached #1 Nationally in Rock and #4 globally. In

Dissfigured
started as a fun project with no intent to ever release anything.
The idea was
just to write a bunch of music and play it as a hobby.
Several of the songs are
actually rehashed versions of songs written in the early 00's back when we were
a trio called "Twisted Coil".
What a horrible name but there was a good story
behind it and and we had a bunch of internet radio play so we used it for
awhile.
thousand yard stare is the first disc as Dissfigured but a second is
already in the works.
This set of tracks was recorded mostly in home studios and
mastered in Kraljevo Serbia of all places at a studio called AB Sound Production.
The
driving force behind the home studio / outsourcing model was money but in the
end, it works.
It is less refined and there are little quirks here nad there
that most musicians would have punched in and refactored but leaving them in
makes everything a bit more real.
Stepping away from the world of airbrushed
people in magazines, we see that everyone is a little Dissfigured in real life.
(That made me cringe)
Same with music though. No over processed, auto tuned, sampled, ultra polished thing
that cannot be recreated. Just the music.
