THE VIGILANCE COMMITTEE - Reflections III

New York indie/punk outfit The Vigilance Committee just released their new standalone single, “Reflections III”. It's a prog rock song that explores the feeling of seeing one's hard work and authenticity hijacked, and grapples with the very human issues of ego and reflecting on our own personal darkest shadows.

“This song is about the human experience of building something from the ground up, but then watching it crumble away and learning how to live with the experience of appreciating beauty, however imperfect or flawed it may be. It’s about valuing integrity over material things. Like building a beautiful house for you and your people, only to realize they are not your people after all, and you’d rather give the keys away than compromise on your values.”
