RED SKIES MOURNING - How Can I Believe?

Alternetive rock one man band from Baltimore, US, Red Skies Mourning, just released his new single How Can I Believe? Red Skies Mourning is the creation of Chris Aleshire, a Singer/Songwriter whose music is influenced by Alice In Chains, Chris Cornell, Iron Maiden, Coldplay and U2. He has been a member of cover bands and numerous hardcore bands such as Carved In Stone, Erase The Past and Taken By Force. With an array of musical influences, his sound is fluid but is always linked to emotion.

Setting the stage with a melancholically hopeful guitar riff, Red Skies Mourning smoothly expands "How Can I Believe" into a sprawling, emotionally resonant space - steeped in soaring guitar tones and featuring an engagingly clarion vocal performance. "The lyrics were originally written 10+ years ago when my father passed from Melanoma - over exposure to Agent Orange that was sprayed in Vietnam... At the same time of his passed I was also taking world religion in community college and the various beliefs there are out there where most have common similarities" Chris says about the track.
