Disconnect is the new single by US-based experimental metal band Effigy. It's a progressive metal song with metalcore elements. Growling vocals and heavy guitars alternate with melodic passages to deliver a technically excellent result. Lyrically Disconnect concerns modern anxiety and the lack of perspective. The band says about : 'Effigy constructs songs built around ideas best to burn'.
In one word: Excellent !!!
