Song of the Day : Baïki - KosmoX

Artist/Band: Baïki
Title: KosmoX
Style: Punk Rock, Post-Punk
Year: 2026

"KosmoX" by Baïki is a sharp and energetic alternative rock single that blends post-punk drive with clever satire.
The track moves with a relentless motorik rhythm, anchored by propulsive bass and tight, textured guitar riffs that keep the momentum high from start to finish. The production is clean and focused, giving the song a strong sense of urgency while leaving plenty of room for the lyrics to land with clarity.
Baïki delivers the vocals with confident, theatrical flair, mixing straightforward singing with spoken-word emphasis that heightens the ironic tone. The anthemic chorus is especially catchy and easy to remember.
The French lyrics use a sci-fi story about colonizing space and fighting aliens to cleverly criticize humanity’s habit of needing enemies to feel united. Lines about finding peace through a “common enemy” are darkly humorous and thought-provoking.
Baïki has created a bold, intelligent track that is both fun to listen to and sharp in its message. It stands out as smart, well-executed independent rock with real character.

Song of the Day : PILL-BOX - Cost Of Living

Artist/Band: PILL-BOX
Title: Cost Of Living
Style: Britpop, Post-Punk
Year: 2026

"Cost Of Living" is a sharp, fun blast of Brit pop energy. Luke Mortimore and James Mcrea keep it raw and DIY. James's lead guitar cuts through with crisp, twangy riffs, while Luke's rhythm guitars and keys add that classic jangle. The rhythm section drives a bouncy, dancy groove that's impossible not to move to.
Luke's vocals are cheeky and catchy, full of dry sarcasm. Lyrics nail the British knack for complaining with humour: partygate hangovers, inflation woes, first-world moans, all delivered with a wink.
Production is lo-fi but lively. Recorded at James's studio, it has that warm, garage feel with clean enough mastering to let every hook pop. It's loud, catchy, and full of personality. A brilliant debut.
