Red Flag Crew - Black sails on the horizon EP (2014) Free Download

Red Flag Crew is a Spanish pirate metal band. Founded at the end of 2013 by ex-members of Evernight, RFC recorded his first EP "Black sails on the horizon" and released it on April 2014 including 6 songs in it. Red Flag Crew greatest influence is Alestorm but adding  his personal touch to the songs with a more agressive voice and more keyboards. All the lyrics refer to pirate themes, some of them real ones, and other just sea legends.

King Size - Around and Around (Re-Issue 2014)

In  2014  the  Austrian  rock  band  King  Size  celebrated  its  25 years  jubilee.  Main songwriter  and  guitarist  Tom  Proll  (a.k.a. "Major  Tom")  and  his  bandmates played  over  800  concerts worldwide  and  released  a  lot  of  music  up  to  now.  A few songs  made  it  into  the  charts  and  a  few  of  these  even  to  the top!  The  ballad "Don't  Say  Goodbye"  (#1)  and  the  rock  songs "Show  Me  The  Way"  (#2), "Machinery"  (#1)  and  "Change Your  Mind"  (#1)  were  the  most  successful releases  of  King Size.  Further  the  live  opener  "Face  To  Face"  and  of  course
"Second  Skin"  (Song  Expo  Award  2001  Winner,  Category "Rock  song  of  the year")  are  regarded  as  classics  today!   

 King Size  went  on  tour  with  bands  like Saga,  Sweet,  Uriah  Heep or Thin  Lizzy  and  shared  stages  around  the  globe  with
bands  likes  Oasis,  Toto,  Whitesnake,  Wasp,  Quiet,  Riot,  Steve Lukather  Band, Blind  Petition,  Mannfred  Mann's  Earthband, Bluespumpm,  Slade,  Gotthard, Supertramp's  Carl  Verheyen, Manowar,  Overkill,  Great  White  and  many  more on  festivals. Naturally  they  had  many  headliner  gigs  in  Europe,  Asia  and in  the US.  

In  early  2014  they  released  the  best  of  album "Dangerous  Girls  &  Beauty Queens"  which  consists  of  two CDs  with  35  songs  from  25  years  of  band history!  2014 brings  changes  too  as  Major  Tom  decided  to  collaborate  with the German  label  "NRT-­‐Records":  Fans  will  get  a  big  load  of re-­‐releases  celebrating the  25  year  jubilee  with  unreleased bonus  tracks  and  remixes!  Tom  Proll  is  working  on
two  new  solo  albums  which  will  be  released  with  NRT-­‐Records  and  a  new special  King  Size  best  of  album  with remixes,  rare  songs  and  surprises  will  be released  under  the name  "Greatests  Tits"  soon.And  who  knows maybe  there  will be  brand  new  King  Size  album  or  even  a  live  reunion  in  the
near  future?  Time  will  tell... 
The  year  2000  started  with  three samplers  before  the  release of  the  album  "Around  And  Around" was  released  in August. The  album  contained  the  chart  busters  "Machinery",  "Change Your Mind",  "Could  This  Be  Love"  and  of  course  "Second Skin".

A2aThoT - Gestalt (2014)

A2aThoT (pronounced “azathot”) is a one-man band from Italy. Not only he records every instruments and vocals (except for some guests), he's also recording, mixing, and engineering everything. This "self-production statement" wants to remind to everyone that you don't need so much to make music, as long as you truly feel it inside of you.
In 2012, A2aThoT published his first, self-produced album (“A2aThoT”), available on his official website. In August 2012, he release a metal cover of “Call Me Maybe” by Carly Rae Jepsen, a sort of parody of this famous song.It's only for YouTube users, and it's not available in any form apart from the video. It reaches more than 1000 views in a matter of few weeks, with no promotion at all except A2aThoT himself.

In late 2012/early 2013, he starts recording new material, better oriented for the real A2aThoT sound, that will be featured in the EP, “Trust Your Ear”, published in March 2013 with Pure Steel Promotion. The EP is a complete mix of Doom Metal, Psychedelic Music, with a great taste for experimental things. The sound is deep, dark, and will take you down, below the growling vocals (usually dubbed with clean ones), but always with a touch of melody and melancholic clean parts. Basically, a creepy atmosphere with a gentle touch of sadness. The feedbacks are very good, and the record gets a lot of reviews and articles from many websites (MetalItalia, In Your Eyes, Metal1, Greek Rebels, Blackened Horde, Italia di Metallo, Stormbringer, Focus On
Metal, etc.) and magazines (Rock Hard, Burst, etc.) along with a good work from web radios (Metal-FM, Music-Is-Life, etc.).

In 2014 a new record is ready: “Gestalt”, self-published and promoted. More electronic and psychedelic, now doom metal is not the biggest part of A2aThoT's sound. Influences from Depeche Mode, Anathema, Telefon Tel Aviv, Radiohead, Nine Inch Nails, Pink Floyd, Neurosis, and many more, can be found in the songs that design a claustrophobic, anxious, nervous atmosphere.

Kivanc Kilicer - Dew on Roses (2014) EP

Kivanc Kilicer started his professional music career as the multitalented frontman of the hard rock band Element in 2007. After composing and releasing 2 studio albums with the band, he focused on his pending international solo project Gravity, where he found himself exploring various combination of contrast tunes and blending them with pure hard rock sound.With a hybrid of metal, electronic and symphonic music and with its mindbending lyrics written by famous English poet John Dryden on 1668, “Dew on Roses”, first EP of Gravity project, harbors many of the similar feelings shared by all of us: A special awakening moment in our short lives. Other tracks of the EP, “Devil’s Thought” and “One of a Kind” have quite original and sharp riffs accompanied with progressive tempos. When listened one after another, the tracks can be the cause an emerging selfmotivating energy, which may take you higher off the ground.

The band members - fellow drum genius Gursu Erden and rocksolid bassist tone meister Murat Cum - met in 2010 while recording for Element. Gursu and Kivanc have been playing together in various bands since 1996.

Recorded in Studio FM, “Dew on Roses” was created with progressive riffs over a symphonic base. After its cinematic suspense intro and inviting vocals, the mysterious reprise harmony will have you singing along with your fist in the air.While the guitars of “Devil’s Thought” definitely make you feel the hard rock punch along with the blazing riffs and its passionate solo, “One of a Kind” fuels you with energy with its infectious chorus and its creative edges. The Hourglass - Biography

The Hourglass is a symphonic/gothic/industrial metal band, formed by Alma Vomastek (vocals, keyboards, songwriting, lyrics), Bogdan Mara (drums) and Vlad Negrea (guitar), in the city of Cluj-Napoca, Romania. The name was carefully chosen to represent a connection between old and new, classical and modern (musically speaking) and also, to keep a general idea that everything that has a beginning, also has an end.

The band started as a studio project, having only a 4-5 songs demo recording in plan. The main reason to start this way is that a band cannot aim high or represent any interest to the local scene until there are at least some demo quality songs to be presented to the local public on social networks (Facebook, Reverbnation or Myspace).
The goal of The Hourglass was to create something new, something that could combine different genres into a new sound. After many musical experiments in songwriting regarding subjects, atmosphere and sounds used, the band crystallized a sound represented by heavy guitars and strong rhythmics, symphonic and industrial keyboard sounds, all combined with a classical soprano voice. A symphonic/industrial metal hybrid.

On the 30th of December 2011,The Hourglass released online the first self-produced studio material, "Requiem", a 5 songs demo that represents a mixture of feelings, harmonies and styles. Mircea Petreus joined the crew with his bass skills right before the last two songs were recorded. From a ballad (In Remembrance) to a strong industrial metal influenced song (The Fall), they tried to explore the strongest human beliefs and feelings.

The spring of 2012 brings the last missing member in the band: Ioana Dirva, a pianist drawn by the idea of playing on a synthesizer and trying a different musical approach. After a strong live debut as an opening act for Theatres des Vampires (Italy) in Cluj-Napoca on the 20th of April 2012, one of the founding members, Vlad Negrea (guitar) left the band for personal reasons, followed by Mircea Petreus (bass), three months later. Even so, the formula of five was completed quick, without affecting the band's rehearsals schedule and upcoming concerts. With Andrei Buciuta (guitar) and Traian Toderean (bass), The Hourglass was complete again, ready to rock the local stage (and more) with the new members and songs.

The end of 2013 comes with line-up changes: Andrei and Traian left the band due to the tight schedule of their studies, to be replaced in a short time by none other than Vlad Negrea, who takes the guitarist role once again, joining the band together with a new friend: Cristian Florea (the bassist of Shadowsail).

The Hourglass's debut album, "Through Darkness And Light" was released on the 28th of March 2014, so let's see what this will bring on the table for this band!

Within Temptation’s sixth studio album is called ‘Hydra’ and will be released on the 31st of January, 2014.
The album will be available in several luxury formats.
Within Temptation collaborated with several special guests on ‘Hydra’: Tarja Turunen, Dave Pirner of Soul Asylum and metalcore hero Howard Jones, formerly of Killswitch Engage as well as US hip-hop icon Xzibit.

PRIMAL FEAR - Delivering The Black (2014)

Frontiers Records is pleased to announce the release of PRIMAL FEAR new album “Delivering the Black” on January 24th in Europe and January 28th in North America.
After some very intense songwriting sessions and pre-production schedule, the band started to record the new album, “Delivering The Black” in summer 2013 at the House of Music studios in Germany, with producer Mat Sinner and engineer Achim Koehler.
“Delivering The Black” will be available in regular cd edition, deluxe edition with 2 bonus tracks and – in cooperation with Soulfood Music - vinyl edition and DVD and limited edition (666 copies only!) of a Super-de-luxe version including a metallic eagle!
